Warenwirtschaft in the Kassa: Lager, Inventur and Bestellung

The Kassa deducts each sale from the Lager, and whatever falls below the Mindestbestand appears in the Bestellvorschlag. You order from the Lieferant, book the Wareneingang, and your stock adds up.

What the Warenwirtschaft system in casse can do

Lager management and purchasing in one program, with the same Artikel as at the Kassa.

  • Lager management in several locations

Stock per Lager, with a Lagerplatz and its own Mindestbestand per location. Each Kassa sells from a Lager you choose, and Storno and Retoure go back there.

  • Inventur per Artikel

You enter what you actually counted, and casse books the difference. Every movement is in the history of the Artikel, with time and person.

  • Mindestbestand and Bestellvorschlag

Whatever is at or below the Mindestbestand appears in the Bestellvorschlag, grouped by Standardlieferant, most urgent first. What has already been ordered is shown alongside, so nothing is ordered twice.

  • Bestellung to the Lieferant

For each Lieferant and Artikel you store the purchase price, Bestellnummer and delivery time. The Bestellung gets its number, and you pass it on as a printout or PDF.

  • Wareneingang, in full or in part

When the goods arrive, you book the Wareneingang against the Bestellung, in part if needed. Stock is right straight away, and the rest stays open until it comes.

  • Transfers and export

Goods between two Lager stay “in transit” until they arrive; whatever is missing you write off as shrinkage. You export stock and movements as Excel or CSV.

How to start with Warenwirtschaft

  1. Bring in your Artikel

You import your Artikel by CSV or Excel. For each Artikel you decide whether it keeps stock and at which Mindestbestand it is reordered.

  2. Lieferanten and prices

You create your Lieferanten, store the purchase price for each Artikel and choose the Standardlieferant.

  3. Order and book in

Order from the Bestellvorschlag, print the Bestellung and book the delivered quantity at Wareneingang. Counting is done with the Inventur.
